connect with Lon & her story

Me sitting on chair.jpg
From a young age, I developed an interest in health sciences, driven by my own experience with chronic pain. Having dealt with severe stiffness and discomfort throughout my back for as long as I can remember, which affected my mood, studies and quality of life. I sought to understand the root causes with anything that would help.  â€‹

After years of failed attempts to final a solution, I was recommended a specialised physiotherapist, which led to a transformative result. Through a combination of breath-work reducing stress, tailored manual therapy and an personalised exercise approach with Pilates, I was able to achieve lasting relief. Understanding my body gave me the knowledge and power to make informed decisions, alleviate pain, and live a happier life. These changes positively impacted my physical and mental health, boosted my self-esteem, and even improved my sleep.

Motivated by my personal struggle, I pursued tertiary education, ultimately earning a Master's in Physiotherapy. My goal was to empower others to live pain-free, fulfilling lives. I continually strive to deepen my knowledge of the body and its conditions, ensuring my approach remains evidence-based and effective. Over the past decade, I have worked in private practice, treating women with a myraid of conditions, including mastitis, post-operative cosmetic surgery recovery, pelvic pain, and leading various Pilates classes. My focus on female clients and mothers is personal, as I now have two children myself and can deeply relate to their challenges.

My personal journey led to the creation of femme forme, with unique services designed to bring physiotherapy and Pilates rehabilitation to women with high standards in the comfort of their own homes or in the clinic. For those who prefer the outdoors, I also offer Pilates mat classes in the heart of Bondi Beach, providing a refreshing option for wellness.
